Savannah Chrisley, reality TV star of Chrisley Knows Best, has revealed that her romance with Robert Shiver started in an unusual way—through a direct message she sent him. The message was related to the widely publicized scandal involving Shiver’s wife, Lindsay Shiver, who was accused of plotting to have him killed.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, the 26-year-old shared details about how the connection began. “It’s not every day you meet someone through a scandal,” Chrisley said with a laugh, explaining that she reached out to Robert after reading about his wife’s alleged murder plot. Lindsay Shiver was arrested in July 2023 alongside two others in the Bahamas for allegedly conspiring to kill her husband.

According to Savannah, her initial message was one of support and curiosity, not an expectation of starting a relationship. “I just wanted to check on him,” she said. Their conversations quickly deepened, leading to an unexpected romantic connection.

Robert Shiver, a former Auburn University football player, gained attention during the scandal due to his resilience and composure. His estranged wife’s legal troubles made headlines worldwide, and the case is still ongoing.

Chrisley, who has been vocal about her personal struggles and family challenges, stated that their shared experiences of overcoming adversity brought them closer. “We’ve both been through tough times, and it’s something we bonded over,” she explained.

Fans have reacted with mixed emotions to the budding romance, with many praising Savannah for her honesty. While some raised eyebrows at the circumstances of their meeting, others have expressed support for the couple’s newfound happiness amid challenging situations.
