Sometimes, your wardrobe may not make the statement that you might intend for it to, and Zara Noor Abbas isn't afraid to admit it. After a hearty sequence of her brother's wedding festivities, the 33-year-old actor took a moment to wind down and film her first GRWM (Get-Ready-With-Me video) of 2025. She uploaded the video on Instagram.

As she dabbed on makeup, Zara discussed her new year's resolution - reciting a gentle pep talk to assure herself that everything will work out in the end. Switching between topics, she then brought up the matter of the maxi dress that she wore at the reception. Specifically, the conspicuous article of fur that she draped over it, which attracted reservations online. "I looked at the wedding pictures and wondered, 'Why had I taken this fur?'" she recalled.

Zara feels that such regrets are natural. People tend to look back on their fashion choices for wedding festivities and question why they would ever wear a certain thing. In retrospect, she viewed herself as a "papa ki pari" (daddy's fairy) and groaned. However, she doesn't believe that the look was a lost cause. "The dress was so amazing! I was happy with it. I was not happy [with] how I carried it," she admitted.

Down in the comments section, fans appreciated Zara's eye for constructive criticism while others rushed in with compliments. "Honestly everything else was on point," a user praised. "Haha! Own it! I love you!" another enthused.

Regrets aside, the Jhoom actor had a memorable wedding season. In an earlier post, she shared a carousel of photos from the reception, which saw her swaying with family on the dance floor and having a merry time in general. "This day was more than just a wedding - it was a celebration of love, family, and resilience. Despite the rain's best efforts to dampen our spirits, we persevered and made this day unforgettable," she wrote.

"Some things I'll never forget - running in and out of the halls on the coldest day of Lahore, having rain washing away the decor and food stalls - watching my little brother become a husband and making sure his lady love was okay," added Zara.

Paying tribute to her loved ones, Zara finished with, "The rain may have tried to ruin our perfect plans, but it only made this day more memorable. I'm so, so grateful for the love and support of our family and friends who made this day so special. It would have been nothing without you all."
