Samar Jafri, Aashir Wajahat tease ‘Tum Na Ho’ with childhood throwback

Artists Samar Jafri and Aashir Wajahat took to Instagram to tease their upcoming song Tum Na Ho with a throwback photo of the two as children.

The duo, both established actors and musicians in the industry, mark their second musical collaboration, following Aaja Chal Jhoomay from the film Daghabaaz Dil (2024). They also shared screen space in the Eid comedy Na Baligh Afraad (2024).

Speaking to Fuschia Magazine in 2024, the two reflected on growing up together as young actors while discussing their film, which centres on children eager to grow up - a theme that resonates with their latest musical visual. They also performed an unplugged cover of some of their favorite songs during the interview.

Jafri gained recognition for his role in the hit drama Parwarish (2015), which also helped launch his musical career with tracks like Guzaarishein, Karde Karum Tu and Main Rahun.

Wajahat has similarly built a strong presence in the industry, appearing in films such as Karachi se Lahore (2015) and his current drama Kafeel (2025). Alongside acting, he has released multiple songs, including drama covers for Parde Mein Rehne Do and rose to widespread popularity with Sadqay alongside Nehaal Naseem.

Together, Jafri and Wajahat represent a new generation of entertainers, showing that success in the industry can span both acting and music.
