Tom Holland surprised Zendaya with a proposal, a source exclusively revealed to Page Six. “Tom and Zendaya had discussed marriage over the years, but Zendaya had no idea he was planning to propose,” the insider shared.

The source explained that the “Spider-Man” star “wanted to keep the proposal private” in line with their mutual desire for privacy.

Holland reportedly asked both Zendaya’s father and mother for their blessing before proposing.

Zendaya shares a close bond with her parents, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman and Claire Stoermer, and has five older half-siblings: three sisters, Katianna, Annabella, and Kaylee, and two brothers, Austin and Julien, known as “EZ.”

“Tom and Zendaya’s families are thrilled,” the insider added. “Zendaya’s mom and sisters are especially excited to help with planning.”

There are no wedding plans yet, according to the source, who noted, “It’s far too soon for that. Right now, they’re just enjoying the moment.”

Zendaya, 28, sparked engagement rumors at the 2025 Golden Globes when she debuted a stunning 5-carat diamond ring while wearing a custom strapless copper-colored Louis Vuitton gown.

Page Six confirmed earlier Monday that Holland, also 28, had asked for her hand in marriage.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2017 but denied them until going public with their relationship in 2021.
