RAWALPINDI:

The Lahore High Court's Rawalpindi Bench Judge Sadaqat Ali Khan has ordered the recovery of Afghan youth Pervez Sarim, who went missing on September 4, 2024, within the limits of Pirwudhai police station.

The court has directed that he be brought before the court within one month. The petition was filed by the missing youth's father, Sagar Sarim, who reported that his son, an Afghan citizen, disappeared from the Khayaban-i-Sir Syed area of Rawalpindi.

The petition lists the Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, the Regional Director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration, RPO Rawalpindi, and the SHO of Pirwudhai police station as respondents.

The family's lawyer, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob, argued that no action had been taken to locate the missing youth, causing significant distress to the family.
