Lamar Odom recently bought a custom-made sex doll, requesting that it resemble his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian.
The former Los Angeles Lakers player visited the RealDoll facility in Las Vegas on Tuesday after noticing their dolls in the news about a month ago and “instantly” feeling he needed one, according to his manager, Gina Rodriguez, who spoke with TMZ.
Photos and videos acquired by the outlet show Odom smiling and interacting with various unclothed life-size dolls in the warehouse, describing one with prominent curves as “bad.”
The 45-year-old retired basketball player was also filmed examining items at a workstation, including dildos.
Odom requested his doll to have “voluptuous curves” and a face resembling Kardashian, 40, “because he can do whatever he wants with her sexually,” his representative shared with TMZ.
The dolls are priced between $8,000 and $20,000, though Odom reportedly received a discount.
Representatives for Kardashian and Odom have not yet commented on the matter.
Odom and Kardashian, the founder of Good American, married in September 2009 but separated four years later in 2013.
Their relationship deteriorated as Odom dealt with issues related to infidelity and his self-admitted sex addiction.
Ahead of his 2019 memoir, Darkness to Light, the former NBA star opened up about his regrets, admitting he felt remorse over his behavior toward Kardashian.
“I wish I could have been more of a man,” he told People in May 2019. “It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with.”
In his book, Odom cited the pressures of fame as reasons for his struggles with multiple affairs and drug abuse.
“At the start of our marriage I was faithful to her,” he wrote. “I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity.”
He added, “Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression. … I couldn’t keep my d–k in my pants or the coke out of my nose.”
Odom went on, “I’ve had sex with more than two thousand women. There were too many strippers to count. My sex addiction and my cocaine addiction go hand in hand.”
