BLACKPINK’s Rosé has set a new milestone in K-pop history with her latest song ‘APT’ featuring Bruno Mars. As of October 21, 2024, the track climbed to No. 4 on the Apple Music US pop charts, making it the highest-peaking song by a K-pop soloist. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by BTS' Jungkook with his hit Seven. Rosé also becomes the second K-pop artist to enter the Top 10 on Apple Music US, marking a significant moment for her solo career.

Fans have flooded social media with messages of support and excitement. Many praised the collaboration between Rosé and Bruno Mars, with one fan writing, “Rosé shines bright, breaking records and making history, K-pop queen reigns supreme!”

Beyond Apple Music, ‘APT’ also secured the top spot on the Global Spotify chart and broke YouTube records with 25.24 million views in the first 24 hours, making it the biggest debut for a Korean soloist in 2024. The track continues to dominate various platforms, topping charts like MelOn, Genie, and VIBE.

As Rosé's first solo project post-BLACKPINK, ‘APT’ has solidified her position as one of the most influential K-pop solo artists globally.
