Hells Angels debunk Aurora confrontation rumours, fight misinformation

False social media narratives fuel speculation, but officials confirm the biker gang's non-involvement.

The Hells Angels biker gang has firmly denied 'absolutely ridiculous' rumors about a confrontation with Venezuelan gangs in Aurora, Colorado.

False claims circulating on social media suggested the Angels were preparing for a showdown, but the only thing they're fighting back against is misinformation.

In a statement, the Colorado charter of Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC) refuted these claims, stating they don't engage in political issues outside of motorcycling and take no stance on immigration or the presidential election.   

Viral videos falsely claiming to show bikers heading to Aurora to confront the Tren de Aragua gang garnered millions of views. However, these videos were either unrelated or filmed months prior.   

Despite their fake origin, the videos prompted conservative influencers and elected officials to reshare the posts, further fueling speculation.

Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston stated the situation is being grossly exaggerated, emphasizing the need to combat misinformation and avoid perpetuating false narratives.
