Prince Harry to visit New York City for UN General Assembly and Climate Week

Harry's last visit to NYC was for the Archewell Foundation's inaugural event on mental wellness in the digital age.

Prince Harry is set to visit New York City during the UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week in September. He plans to engage with various organizations he supports, including African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst. Additionally, he will be working to advance the initiatives of The Archewell Foundation, the non-profit he co-founded with Meghan Markle.

The timing of his visit coincides with the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit co-hosted by Prince William's Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies. While it's unclear if Prince William will attend, Harry's presence in the city underscores the brothers' shared commitment to environmental causes.

Harry's last visit to New York was in 2023 for the Archewell Foundation's inaugural in-person event focusing on mental wellness in the digital age. He and Meghan also undertook international trips this year to Nigeria and Colombia in support of their foundation's work.

During his trip, Harry will likely emphasize the importance of direct engagement and collaboration to achieve positive change, echoing sentiments he expressed during a previous trip to Nigeria. He will also be furthering the work of The Parents Network, a recently launched initiative by The Archewell Foundation to support parents whose children have been affected by social media-related traumas.
