Naomi Wolf, a prominent figure in the third wave of feminism, has allegedly been de-platformed on X, formerly known as Twitter, sparking widespread confusion and rumours among her followers.

Wolf, who gained recognition with her 1991 publication The Beauty Myth, has more recently been criticised and labelled a conspiracy theorist due to her controversial views on COVID-19 lockdowns and vaccines.

In June 2021, her Twitter account was suspended for spreading anti-vaccine misinformation.

The latest controversy emerged after her interview with Alex Jones, where Wolf issued an urgent warning to Donald Trump about an alleged "Deep State coup" and claimed that COVID-19 vaccines were ineffective, accusing Pfizer of manipulating data to hide negative outcomes.

Following her supposed deplatforming, an account on X (@DailyClout) surfaced, claiming to be Wolf and asserting that she had been blocked from her official account. The account urged followers to contact Elon Musk to have her account reinstated.

Wolf's profile picture was removed and replaced with a blank icon, with posts attributed to "dot."

The situation remains unclear, with many users on X demanding clarification and answers from the platform regarding her account’s status and the reasons behind the alleged ban.
