SZA recently opened up on social media about a challenging personal experience, revealing that she fell in love with an "opp"—someone who didn’t have her best interests at heart.

In a brief but telling post on X (formerly Twitter), the singer wrote, "Being in love w your opp is crazy.. that sh*t really happened to me. So embarrassing."

This confession resonated deeply with her followers, many of whom shared their own stories of failed relationships.

Some fans even joked about the possibility that she was referring to Drake, with whom she briefly dated in 2009, although the two have since remained friends and musical collaborators.

The post adds to the ongoing narrative SZA has built through her music, often touching on themes of relationship struggles and self-reflection.

Over the past two years, SZA has kept busy with a series of high-profile performances, including sets at Lollapalooza, Osheaga, and Glastonbury, and her extensive SOS World Tour, which spanned 63 shows from February 2023 to May 2024.

Her album SOS has received critical acclaim, earning spots on both Apple Music's 100 Best Albums list and Rolling Stone's updated list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Fans are eagerly awaiting new music from SZA, and she has hinted at two upcoming projects: the deluxe version of SOS, which will feature leaks and outtakes from the original recording sessions, and a new album titled Lana, which was originally intended to be the deluxe edition but evolved into a standalone project.

While release dates for both projects remain unconfirmed, SZA's candid social media presence continues to keep her audience engaged and connected to her journey.
