Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett made a glamorous appearance at Paris Fashion Week alongside her 16-year-old son, Ignatius. The stylish mother-son duo attended the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture fall/winter 2024-2025 show on June 25, turning heads with their coordinated black-and-white outfits.
Blanchett opted for an all-black ensemble featuring a structured corset top, embroidered trousers, and pointed-toe pumps. She completed the look with a black blazer draped over her shoulders and a pair of sunglasses. Ignatius complemented his mother's attire with a cream-colored suit, a white button-down shirt, and silver necklaces.
Videos from the event captured Blanchett and Ignatius sitting front row, warmly greeting fellow guests. This isn't the first time the actress has shared her professional life with her children. Blanchett previously revealed that Ignatius had watched her perform in "A Streetcar Named Desire" backstage when he was younger.
Blanchett and her husband, Andrew Upton, have been married since 1997 and share three sons—Dashiell, 22, Roman, 20, and Ignatius—and a daughter, Edith, 9. The name Ignatius was inspired by a humorous passage in the "Captain Underpants" children's book series.
