In a recent episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim Kardashian shared a quirky detail about her get-ready process while preparing for her Swarovski x Skims launch event in New York City. During the Thursday, June 13 episode, Kim revealed that she blow-dries her jewelry because she “can’t stand putting on something freezing.”

The camera then showcased the gem-covered two-piece ensemble she wore to the November 2023 celebration. “It’s all crystals, so we have to blow-dry the whole thing so it gets warm,” Kim explained.

Her commitment to comfort extends beyond her clothes.

Longtime makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic noted that the hotel suite where she was getting dressed was “boiling” to ensure her comfort.

The Swarovski x Skims launch also celebrated the opening of the brand’s new flagship store on Fifth Avenue.

At the glamorous soirée, Kim stunned in her glittery outfit, paired with Swarovski x Skims cotton rib boxers in marble and PVC strappy heels.

Her glam look featured smokey eyeshadow, long lashes, black eyeliner, pink blush, and her signature nude lip. She completed the look with a messy high bun and face-framing curtain bangs.

Skims partnered with Swarovski to create a line of crystal-embellished underwear and clothing, which launched in November of last year.

The collection includes tube skirts, bodysuits, leggings, dresses, bras, and body jewelry. “I’ve had Swarovski figurines and crystals my whole life,” Kardashian told Elle in an interview. “Whenever I use crystals, they’re always Swarovski. To this day, my kids even get me the Swarovski figurines for Mother’s Day, because they know how much I love the crystals and shine.”
