Grimes took to social media to apologise for the "technical issues" that marred her Coachella performance on Saturday night.

The 36-year-old musician explained that she had outsourced some essential tasks for the first time, leading to problems with track speeds and organisation.

Halfway through her set, Grimes was forced to restart "Music 4 Machines' ' multiple times due to the track playing at double speed. Frustrated, she told the crowd, "This is— always f—ing happens... there has never been a Grimes show without a major technical difficulty."

In her apology, Grimes acknowledged she should have supervised the outsourced tasks more closely. She promised fans that next week's performance will be flawless and personally overseen by her. She ended the note asking fans for forgiveness and expressing her love.
