Amidst a teaser full of ammunition, thrills and a music score that will no doubt have you on the edge of your seat, the highly anticipated Dhai Chaal drops its official premiere date. A short teaser trailer released to Youtube unveils that Dhai Chaal will be hitting cinemas on December 8.
The Ayesha Omar and Shamoon Abbasi starrer is reported to be loosely based on the life of a convicted Indian spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav. Abbasi is said to portray the character who is caught by Pakistani Intelligence agencies. With an official trailer that released well over a year ago in June 2022, the highly anticipated thriller gripped audiences with its no less than riveting storyline.
“Ye Bollywood nahi hai, jahaan climax mein tum log har jang jeet jate ho (this isn’t Bollywood, where you'll win every war as the film climaxes),” a dialogue that was first featured in the trailer – as well as the recently released premiere announcement – is one that defines the story Dhai Chaal features.
The recently released teaser, while not revealing much, does definitely give eager spectators a feel of the upcoming film. Published with a myriad of bombs, dark palette, and just overall chaos in the vicinity, the newly acquired trailer displays still images of the star cast of Taimoor Sherazi’s directorial project.
Amongst the names of Shamoon Abbasi and Ayesha Omar – who is said to essay the role of a journalist and possible love interest – the film is also said to star Humayoun Ashraf, Adnan Shah Tipu, Taqi Ahmed, Saleem Miraj, Areej Chaudhry, Faraz Marri, Jamal Gilani, Pakiza Khan, and Anya Hassan.
