LWMC CEO requests citizens to actively participate in the ‘Clean Lahore’ mission

Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Babar Sahib Din said on Friday that the company completed its zero-waste operations across the provincial capital.

He said in a statement that the LWMC had deployed special teams for cleanliness operations at Zaman Park, Canal Road, The Mall road, Jail Road and joining areas.

The LWMC enforcement wing was also mobilised to take action against illegal dumping of waste. CEO Din said during special zero-waste operation, the LWMC ensured cleanliness around streets, squares, main roads, bus terminals across the city.

Over 6,000 containers were cleared across the city as per routine, while instructions were issued to carry out the mechanical washing and sweeping of roads at night.

LWMC CEO requested citizens to actively participate in the ‘Clean Lahore’ mission and cooperate with the company in maintaining cleanliness.
