Murdered: Woman killed by husband

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Arshad, a resident of Mehr Abadia near sector G-12, allegedly strangled his wife to death and fled from his house. Nosher lodged a complaint with the Golra police that his sister Fauzia was found dead in her house with marks of strangulation found on her neck. Her minor daughter was lying near her. Fauzia’s husband Arshad was nowhere to be found and Nosher suspected that he had fled after killing his wife. Police said the couple had been fighting over different family issues for the past few days. A case was registered against the suspect and Golra police launched search to arrest him.
