Centre also forms Wazirabad attack JIT

The federal government has also constituted a joint investigation team in which representatives of Military Intelligence, Inter-Services Intelligence and Intelligence Bureau have been included to investigate the attack on PTI chief Imran Khan in Wazirabad.

After the Punjab government, the federal government has also formed a JIT to investigate the attack.

After the approval of the federal cabinet, the Ministry of Interior issued the JIT notification.

IG Railway Police Pakistan Rao Sardar Ali Khan has been appointed as the convener of the JIT while DIG Kamran Adil along with representatives of the IB, ISI and MI have also been made a part of the team.

The JIT will investigate the case registered in Wazirabad and submit its report to the interior ministry.

It should be noted that the lawyer of the accused Naveed filed an objection to the investigation of the interior ministry.
