Mac Miller’s long-lost album, ‘Balloonerism,’ may finally see the light of day.

During the 10th anniversary of Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival on November 17, 2024, a teaser featuring Mac Miller’s leaked track “5 Dollar Pony Rides” played between Sampha and Alchemist & Friends’ sets. The clip ended with the word “soon,” fueling speculation about the album’s release.

Fans of the late rapper have long awaited the release of ‘Balloonerism,’ a project reportedly recorded between 2013 and 2014. E. Dan of ID Labs previously confirmed the existence of the project in a now-deleted post, revealing it stemmed from jam sessions but was never completed. Some tracks were later used in Mac’s ‘Faces’ mixtape.

Producer Madlib has also hinted at a separate posthumous joint project with Mac Miller, adding to the anticipation among fans. While there’s no official release date, the teaser has reignited hope for the long-lost album to finally be released.
