Taylor Swift revealed she and Gracie Abrams were overwhelmed with excitement upon learning their song Us was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

The track, featured on Abrams's album The Secret of Us, has received widespread acclaim and now Grammy recognition. Swift described their reaction as “feral screeching” during a phone call celebrating the nomination.

The nomination marks a significant milestone for Abrams and adds to Swift’s already impressive Grammy haul. Swift’s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, also earned multiple nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Abrams previously shared a humorous incident from the making of Us, recalling how Swift heroically extinguished a kitchen fire caused by a fallen candle during their songwriting session. “We both had an insane cough from the fire extinguisher fumes for weeks,” Abrams joked.

The duo’s heartfelt collaboration and camaraderie have become a highlight of this Grammy season, with fans eagerly awaiting the ceremony.
