The Special Anti-Terrorism Court awarded 20-year imprisonment to an accused involved in street crime and sent him to jail after canceling his bail.

The Special Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi gave the verdict in the street crime case. The prosecution has proven the crime. The court sentenced the accused Ramzan to a total of 20 years imprisonment.

The court revoked the accused’s bail and ordered to send him to jail. Public prosecutor, Ghulam Murtaza Advocate had stated that the accused was robbing Shahid Khan on September 30, 2020. During the robbery, the police party reached there. As soon as the accused Ramzan saw the police, he started firing. The accused was injured and fell due to the retaliatory fire of the police.

While the defence lawyer took the stand that the allegations leveled against the accused are false. According to the police, a case was registered against the accused in Steel town police station.
