A mason died after accidentally falling from a minaret within the area of Mansoorabad police station.
A Rescue 1122 spokesman said on Sunday that Shahid Mahmood, 32, a resident of Chak No 224-RB Wazir Khan Wali was performing construction work atop a mausoleum’s minaret Malikpur graveyard when he accidentally slipped and fell down on the ground. He received fatal injuries and died on the spot.
The body was handed over to his relatives for burial after completing legal requirements, the spokesman added.
