Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) are sowing seeds of hatred among the Sindhis and Muhajirs for their political survival, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal said on Wednesday.
"Otherwise, on basis of performance, both PPP and MQM have nothing to show to the people," he said.
People from the erstwhile Hindustan came to Pakistan at the time of partition not as refugees but in exchange of the properties they left behind for Hindus who left their estates in newborn state, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal said on Wednesday. Ironically, the estates these migrants were expected to receive were gobbled up by powerful and well-connected people, leaving them homeless and in pathetic state, Kamal said. Asif Zardari should cautiously use language while talking about the people who left India t settle in Pakistan at the time of partition in 1947.

Muhajirs are neither escapees nor refugees, they brought Pakistan with them. Sindhis are Ansar for Muhajirs, but the PPP and the MQM are sowing the seeds of hatred among the Sindhi and Muhajir communities by playing Muhajir-Sindhi card to get their undue political gains, Kamal said.
