Pakistan Army wins gold in international 'adventure competition' in Nepal

Competition was aimed at testing physical endurance and mental agility of participants, says ISPR

The Pakistan Army team won gold medal in international “Adventure Competition” held in Nepal from March 18 to 21, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Sunday.

The competition was aimed at testing physical endurance and mental agility of participants and included cross-country running, cycling and rafting, according to the military’s media wing.

The Pakistan Army participated in the event for first time. A total of 20 teams participated in the event.

In international category, the Pakistan Army team clinched gold medal, the statement added.

Last year, the Pakistan Army won an international military drill competition known as the Pace Sticking Competition held at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, United Kingdom for the third time in a row.

The Pakistan Army had first participated in the event in 2018. The army was represented by the Pakistan Military Academy at the event.
