Thrice in a row: Pak Army wins int'l military drill competition in UK

The army was represented by the Pakistan Military Academy at the event

The Pakistan Army has won an international military drill competition known as the Pace Sticking Competition held at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, United Kingdom for the third time in a row.

This was revealed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar in a tweet on Wednesday.

The Pakistan Army had first participated in the event in 2018. The army was represented by the Pakistan Military Academy at the event.

 

 

Lauding their performance in the drills, Pakistani High Commission in the UK also congratulated the military for winning the competition.

"High Commissioner Moazzam Ahmad Khan felicitates the team, commends the highest standards of professionalism and excellence maintained by Pakistan armed forces," the high commission said in a tweet.
