Two people were killed in separate firing incidents in the metropolis on Friday. A man was killed by gunfire reportedly in a crime motivated by personal enmity in the jurisdiction of Surjani Town Police Station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the deceased was identified as Khalid, 40, son of Nazeer. According to police, the deceased was a resident of the same area and was a driver by profession. The family of the deceased suspect that Khalid was shot dead over personal enmity, said the police, adding that further investigation is underway but they are waiting on the family to lodge a complaint so a case may be registered. Separately, a man was shot dead in Saeedabad area of Baldia Town. His body was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police said that the deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Nawab Khan. The deceased was a resident of Baldia Town and was killed apparently over personal enmity, according to the cops, who added that a case has been lodged and further investigation is underway
