Construction of link road between M-9, N-5 approved

The public-private partnership (PPP) policy board approved on Wednesday the construction of a link road between M-9 motorway and N-5 highway.

The approval was given during a PPP policy board meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

The participants of the meeting were told that a 21.8-kilometre-long link road was needed to be constructed between M-9 motorway and N-5 highway, and that the project was approved for investors' solicitation at the last PPP policy board meeting.

It was also pointed out in the meeting that the road connecting Thatta and Karachi was in needed some restoration work.

At this, the CM constituted a three-member committee to visit the road and submit their findings and recommendations to private partners.
