The cast and crew of upcoming comedy Jug Jug Jeeyo faced a setback a few days ago when actors Neetu Singh, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta tested positive for coronavirus.

While Singh flew back to Mumbai to quarantine, Mehta and Varun remained in Chandigarh to isolate. Other actors Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor also flew back to Mumbai as the shoot halted.

But as per the latest reports, the cast and crew have tested negative and the filming will resume soon. "All the places where the trio had filmed were sanitised following the protocols laid down by the state government. The crew stayed in isolation and now that the trio has been cleared, the team is set to resume shooting from December 19 in Chandigarh,” a source told the Mumbai Mirror.

Neetu will be flying back to Chandigarh on December 18 and wrap up her shoot in five days. However, rest of the crew will continue to shoot till December 30, the report added.

Enlightening what the renewed schedule will be like, the source added, "During the quarantine period, they have devised a revised schedule and will be taking things easy on the set to ensure that the post-COVID fatigue does not take a toll."
