Pakistani starlet Sajal Aly was in Dubai recently where she was awarded an accolede for her contribution towards film and television. The Ye Dil Mera star, clad in a velvet oversized pantsuit, accepted the trophy at the award function held in the UAE emirate, Dubai.
"I'm really honoured to be here. Honoured to be here with such amazing actors and amazing people. I'm extremely thankful to all my fans for believing in me. Thank you DIAFA for this honour," she said in her acceptance speech.
The actor, however, also crossed paths with 365 Days famed star Michele Morrone. The Italian actor, too, was recognised for his contribution to the film and television. Morrone and Aly were even seated at the same table! The pictures of the two went viral on social media. Morrone also performed at the ceremony.
Aly, later took to social media and expressed gratitude. "This award is special to me not just as an artist, but as a proud Pakistani," the actor shared, adding, "Thank you #DIAFA and thank you Dubai for honouring artists from around the world."
Soon after, industry peers congratulated Aly on her much-deserved win.
"MashAllah, congratulations and you totally deserve this and we are super proud of you," Momal Sheikh commented on the O Rangreza star's post.
Aijaz Aslam, Nadia Hussain, Hira Mani, Sadia Ghaffar sent love to Aly for the win.
