Police raided and thwarted a child marriage of an 11-year-old boy and nine-year-old girl in Chadhranwala Khuwa, suburb area of Depalpur tehsil in Okara.
A case had been registered against the father of the bride and groom under the child marriage act and they had been arrested while the Nikah khwan managed to escape.
As per the details, police launched a raid to arrest the Nikah khwan and launched further investigations into the matter.
