Covid-19 claims six more lives

The condition of 252 patients is said to be critical while 42 of them have been put on ventilators

The novel coronavirus claimed six more lives in Sindh on Friday and infected 343 more people, including 182 from Karachi. In his daily situation report, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 9,383 samples were tested on the day, yielding a four per cent detection rate. Furthermore, he added, the death toll had risen to 2,313 in the province. According to the CM, 4,294 patients are currently under treatment, with 3,896 in home isolation, eight in isolation centres and 390 admitted at various hospitals. The condition of 252 patients is said to be critical while 42 of them have been put on ventilators.
