‘Health workers’ security to be ensured’
Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab has assured that the government would provide security to healthcare workers and committed to proposing the idea of legislating on the matter to the cabinet, said Young Doctors Association president Omer Sultan on Tuesday, after a meeting with Wahab.
He further said that the Sindh government spokesperson has given the YDA the assurance that any FIR against doctors, nurses and paramedics would only be registered in accordance with Sindh Health Care Commission directives. He expressed gratitude to Pakistan Peoples Party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for considering their demands.
