RAWALPINDI: Plainclothesmen should keep watch on criminal elements prowling in markets set up during Ramazan said the Rawalpindi region police chief on Saturday. Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Ahsan Tufail on Saturday visited Ramzan Sasta Bazaar at Chungi No22 and reviewed the security arrangements. According to a police spokesman, the RPO directed the police officials to curb crime and to provide foolproof security to the masses during the holy month. He said patrolling should be carried out for safety of citizens and policemen should be deployed in plainclothes to keep an eye on people. He also directed the officials to check and ensure security arrangements of all commercial markets, religious places and in their respective areas.
