
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), led by its President Ahmed Hassan Moughal.
The envoy added that Prime Minister Imran Khan was eager to promote Pakistan’s exports for which, apart from government-to-government contacts, enhanced people-to-people contacts were essential so that foreign stakeholders could visit Pakistan and find out its actual potential.
“Promotion of soft image of Pakistan to the outside world is the need of the hour to stimulate FDI,” he said. “Saudi Arabia is now more open to foreign investors and Pakistani investors too should explore joint venture and investment avenues in the kingdom in their areas of interest.”
