Balochistan PTI chief Rind owns assets worth Rs500m: ECP

Website shows Sarfraz Bugti has a wealth of Rs160m, apart from owning livestock worth Rs80 million

QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday released details of assets of provincial politicians and parliamentarians.
According to details shared by the ECP on its website, former Balochistan chief minister Sanaullah Zehri’s total assets amount to Rs270 million, while PkMAP Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai has the lowest assets of Rs7.5 million.

Caretaker PM declares massive assets

The ECP website states that PTI provincial chief Yar Muhammad Rind is the richest politician of Balochistan with total assets of more than Rs500 million, former PML-Q parliamentary leader Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail has assets of Rs90 million and PkMAP’s Nawab Jogezai has Rs20.4 million.

Former opposition leader Maulana Abdul Wassey has declared his wealth to be at Rs20.2 million, former speaker Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani has more than Rs20.1 million, BNP chief Akhtar Jan Mengal has assets of Rs30.4 million and Maulana Ameer Zaman is contesting elections with a wealth of more than Rs10.1 million.

Imran tells ECP he does not own a vehicle

Former home minister Sarfraz Bugti has declared his assets to be more than Rs160 million. Apart from this, he has livestock worth Rs80 million.

PTI’s Rind has been declared the richest politician and PkMAP’s Achakzai the poorest.
