Quetta will be a safe city, says CM Bizenjo

Announces development of all picnic spots in the province

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said that Quetta will be turned into a peaceful and safe city where visitors from other provinces will feel secure.

“All picnic points in the province, including Hanna-Urak, will be developed with availability of necessary facilities as well,” said the chief minister while talking to the people during his surprise visit to Spin Karez.



Upon his arrival, the youth gathered around the chief minister, took selfies with him and expressed their happiness on his presence.

CM Bizenjo said, “Balochistan is gifted with great beauty. It only requires necessary development and security to attract visitors from other provinces.”

He stressed the need for streamlining the traffic system at picnic places.



The Balochistan chief minister also paid a visit to the under construction University of Balochistan Complex on Alamdar Road in Quetta.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government was taking steps to provide equal education facilities to the youth of Balochistan.

The chief minister issued directions for the timely completion of UoB Campus Marriabad on priority basis.

He said, “The government is working for provision of maximum facilities to the citizens in a short time span.”

Bizenjo was flanked by a provincial minister and Quetta commissioner.



The chief minister also paid a surprise visit to different areas of the city to assess the damage caused by rains.

Bizenjo directed the district administration and the Quetta Municipal Corporation to adopt result-oriented steps for the cleanliness of Quetta.

He also urged the authorities to work for improving the drainage system in Quetta.
