Inspired by PlayStation 4's DualShock controller, the shoes have a PS4 logo that illuminates when pressed.
London was top destination for tech funding in 2017
Designed by Tony Hardman, the same lead designer who brought to the world Paul’s first sneakers – the PG-1, the shoes have another logo as a tribute to the NBA star.
On each of the sneaker’s front, there’s a logo – one of Paul George and the other of PlayStation) that lights up when one presses it.
The process of illuminating and pulsating logo shares a deep resemblance to how the gaming console looks like when its turned on. The lights are battery-powered and last about 150 hours, according to Mashable.
One the back of one of the pair, there’s a barcode that when scanned can win the owner of the shoes a Paul George special PlayStation.
Paul George said that he is “one of the biggest gamers in the NBA” and that he has taken his gaming console with him everywhere which he received it as a Christmas gift.
Paul George has already debuted the PlayStation theme shoes.
