A group of Indonesian students studying at the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) celebrated their graduation day on Monday.

In a maiden ceremony held exclusively for students from Indonesia at the Faisal Masjid campus of IIUI, they were conferred degrees by
IIUI Acting President Dr Bashir Khan.

The students had completed their BS, MS, LLB, MA and LLM courses.

“The graduating students are the ambassadors of IIUI, they would be a vital source for disseminating Islam’s message of peace and tranquillity which they received [at the varsity],” said Dr Khan said.

Advising students to keep seeking guidance from the Holy Quran on how to live their lives, he prayed for their success and urged them to
remain devoted to the cause of Islam.

The event was also attended by Indonesian diplomats and IIUI officials.
