He said Shehbaz would not even complain about the long hours of interrogation and instead wear down the JIT members. Speaking to the media, he said the JIT was seemingly trying to do a PhD thesis on the Sharif family. The law minister said the methods and long hours spent by the JIT casted doubts over the investigation.
He said the allegations of record tampering and noncooperation were completely false, while the JIT did not even disclose the name of the officer involved in the picture-leaking scandal. He said this was unfair conduct on the part of the JIT and the SC should take note of the matter. He said the Panama case was not only a conspiracy against the Sharifs, but a conspiracy against progress in Pakistan.
