MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir acting-president Shah Ghulam Qadir believes India will never think of attacking Pakistan or AJK, stating that New Delhi understands the consequences of any such move.

Qadir issued this statement while inaugurating the Passport Office at Athmuqam, the district headquarters of Neelum Valley. “India should keep in mind that it will face a strong reaction,” the acting president added.

He said the world was aware that both countries have nuclear weapons and any war would be detrimental to global peace.

“The Uri attack was a drama staged by New Delhi to divert the world’s attention from Indian-Occupied Kashmir where occupational troops killed hundreds of innocent people and made hundreds of children blind,” the acting president added.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was entirely committed to the cause of Kashmir. Qadir said Kashmiris held the PM in great regard for his support to their liberation struggle. He thanked Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for approving and establishing the passport office in the Neelum Valley.

He said the PML-N government would implement its party manifesto of bringing developmental revolution to the region.

Srinivasulu Mekala | 8 years ago | Reply I wish all Pakistanis remain under the delusion that India will not retaliate. That kind of ego helps India a lot. This kind of ego also helps in future Pakistani misadventures which can be used as excuses for the unthinkable retaliation by India.
