Bhat urges Kashmir solidarity on Eid

Altaf Ahmed Bhat, a senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), has extended Eidul Fitr greetings to Muslims worldwide, with a special message for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

In his message, he described Eid as a time of gratitude, compassion and unity, underscoring the collective responsibility of Muslims towards justice and humanity. He noted that despite ongoing hardships, restrictions and uncertainty, the people of Kashmir continue to observe the festival with faith, dignity and hope.

Bhat emphasised the values of sacrifice and solidarity, urging support for bereaved families and those whose loved ones remain detained.
