ISLAMABAD: As Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi approaches, different buildings and shrines in Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been decorated with colourful lights.

A number of programmes have been chalked out by government and religious organisations to celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) with great reverence and devotion.

Different Naat committees in the twin cities are organising Mehfil-e-Naat.

Like every year, the federal as well as the provincial governments, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan governments have planned a number of activities to celebrate the annual event.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs will hold a one-day National Seerat Conference. Prominent ulemas and scholars from across the country will participate in the conference and present their articles and thoughts. The topic for this year’s conference is “Preaching strategy in the light of Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings”.
