PHC, federal institutions declare winter holidays

KP schedules break from late December to early January

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has officially announced the schedule for winter vacations for judges, court staff and educational institutions.

According to the notification, judges of the high court and subordinate courts will observe their winter break from December 29 to January 11, while court staff will be on leave from December 29 to January 6.

In a separate notification, federal government educational institutions have also declared winter holidays, with schools set to remain closed from December 26 to January 3.

The announcements follow similar winter break schedules in other parts of the country. In Punjab, the education department recently confirmed winter vacations for all public and private schools beginning December 22 and running through January 10, with academic activities set to resume thereafter.
