Foolproof arrangements: Security tightened around seminaries

SWABI: Security has been tightened at seminaries and mosques in Swabi, the DPO said on Tuesday. The decision was taken at a meeting which was chaired by Swabi DPO Javed Iqbal Khan at his office. Representatives of Wafaqul Madaris and other seminaries and ulemas participated. On the occasion, Iqbal said terrorists were defaming those belonging to seminaries and carrying out terrorist activities, but the police will eliminate the militants at all costs. He added the police will ensure proper checking of identities, while suspicious people will not be allowed to enter the seminaries.
