KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to PPP leader Shahbaz Bhatti on his fifth death anniversary, which was observed on Wednesday. Bilawal said that Bhatti was a brave leader of the party who fought against the forces of darkness to protect marginalised, underprivileged and oppressed Pakistanis. He said that, like a true follower of Benazir Bhutto, Bhatti too laid down his life for the cause of democratic and equal rights for all Pakistanis without any caste, creed or religious discrimination. Bilawal said that PPP was proud of party leaders such as Bhatti, who laid down their lives for the protection of weak segments of the society. Bilawal pledged to continue the struggle for achievement of the vision and mission of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
