The Board of Investment (BoI) Tuesday invited Chinese businessmen to invest in energy, agriculture, construction and other sectors, as Pakistan was committed to improving business climate to further promote both domestic and foreign investment.
In this connection, Shandong Jincheng Yang Group President Sun Yunxiang along with a nine-member Chinese delegation met BoI Secretary Iftikhar Babar.
Babar said the Chinese investors were welcomed to invest in all sectors of the economy especially in power, energy, construction and agriculture. He informed that the delegation is committed to improving the business climate in the country in order to promote both domestic and foreign investment.
This commitment, he said, was reflected in the plan for business climate improvement, which stipulates targeted interventions under different areas of the business regulatory environment. Director General Sohail Ahmed Khan gave a detailed presentation on investment climate available in Pakistan.
