Consent: Man’s nose snipped off as ‘punishment’

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Six men snipped off the end of a man’s nose as punishment for marrying the sister of one of the attackers on Tuesday. Police said Muhammad Ajmal and his friends took Rajib Ali, 30, near the Zahir Pir area and beat him up. They also snipped the end of his nose as ‘punishment’ for marrying Ajmal’s sister without her family’s consent. Ali was taken to Khanpur Civil Hospital. Police said they had arrested three suspects and were looking for the rest.
