Bollywood actor Anupam Kher held a Q&A on Twitter with his fans on Tuesday and his answers revealed he still loves megastars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, despite their differing views on intolerance in India.

Anupam previously claimed that “nobody has the right to call our country intolerant. We are secular people and don’t believe in selective outrage."

However, Aamir and SRK had different views on the matter and spoke out against the ongoing intolerance. Consequently, the two stars received heavy backlash for their comments.

Anupam too got dragged into it, but he cleared the misconceptions via social media. He clarified that he does not consider the Muslim actors to be "anti Indian", nor is he against Pakistani artists working in India.

He also said the reward announced for anyone who can slap Aamir Khan is "shameless" and "disgusting", and that he is still fond of his Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin co-star.





The veteran Bollywood actor also revealed his favourite movie with Shah Rukh is Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, in which he played the role of his father:
