A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three men in Samanabad on Saturday.
Adnan Rafiq told police in his complaint that his niece Nadia* was going to a bazaar when she was abducted by three men.
He said they took her to a deserted place and they raped her.
He said they beat her when she resisted. He said they later left her there and fled.
Samanabad SHO said a case had been registered against three men nominated by the girl’s uncle. He said a team had been constituted find and arrest them.
The SHO said the victim had been advised to get her medical examination conducted and submit a medico-legal report after which further action would be taken.
