PTI worker shot dead in Karachi
In another incident, Muzaffar Bangash, 21, was killed in Karachi's Pehlwan Goth area on Wednesday evening.
PTI workers claimed that Bangash was part of the party and that he had been registered as the party's polling agent for NA-254, where by-elections are due to be held on Thursday.

However, the police denied that Bangash was associated with the PTI. Instead, Gulistan-e-Johar SHO Raheem Shah said that the victim operated a food stall and that two armed men riding on motorcycles shot him thrice in the chest and once in the head. The wounds caused Bangash to die on the spot.
Bangash's body has been moved to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre.
Condemnation from PTI leadership
In a press release issued late Wednesday night, Imran Khan strongly condemned the attacks on PTI members and instructed his party to remain calm and peaceful.
Extending condolences with family members of the dead, Imran asked the government to ensure security of PTI members and asserted that terrorist activities will not be able to prevent 'change' from happening.
The statement added that the attacks were aimed at degrading the law and order situation and breaking their resolve.
Imran Khan tweeted that he was "shocked and saddened" by the murder of the PTI worker.
